Many students lose marks because they do not do what the question is asking them to do. They often know the content – but they are either not addressing the verb and/or they are not writing in enough depth. This sample focuses on Explain. In the last 10 years, this directive verb has appeared 63 times in PDHPE HSC exams (389 marks total / 24.3% of total marks).
